Maintenance of the Capax cannula
The maintenance of the cannula is easy thanks to the simplicity of its manufacturing and the resistance of its material.
Each morning, it requires the cleaning of the supple part by putting it under tepid water and by using the sprinkler inside it, if mucus have been deposited.
So as to disinfect the supple tube, it is advisable to make it soak daily in a glass full of disinfectant as it is done for a dental prosthesis. The filter can be cleaned the same way and can be disinfected after being dismantled. It is necessary to rinse it well in clear water and to make it dry.
The rubber band can also be washed.
A good use of the cannula will guarantee a satisfactory utilization for many/several months.

Advice
- Don't be worried if you cannot carry the cannula at the beginning. Don't get discouraged!.
- After a short period of adaptation, it will be easy.
- Take care of your cannula, and wash it each day.
- The cannula is a personal device. Don't lend it.
- Its use is forbidden to allergic people to SILICONE and POLYPROPYLENE
A good use of the cannula will guarantee a satisfactory utilization for many/several months.
For sanitary reasons and microbial contamination, the cannula has to be changed every year.
